[Tutorial] Tips on How to Manage Folders in Your Blackberry Phone

Ok, We’ve talked about how to install JAD, JAR, COD and ALX files on your Blackberry, How to set email on your Blackberry, and other Blackberry How-To tutorial. Now it is time for us to move on to the next Blackberry Tips and Tricks. This time we will discuss how to manage folders in your Blackberry.
I know that some of you think that you don’t need to manage your folders/apps on your Blackberry. However, the story can be different if you have tons of applications on your beloved phone. When this happens, it can be a bit hard to find your desired apps… By using folders to manage your apps, you can save more time and find the apps easier next time.
Managing folders is pretty simple, actually. For the record, almost all new BlackBerry devices come with a few built-in folders which includes Applications, Games, Setup, Instant Messaging, and Downloads. Here is some tips on how to manage folders in Blackberry:
How to Create a New Folder
- Click the Menu button
- Scroll down and choose the Add Folder option
- Name the folder in the dialog and voila, you’re done.
- Your new folder is now on your desktop
How to Move Icon from the Applications Menu to a folder
- Scroll over the icon
- Press The Menu button
- Select Move to Folder options. A list of your current folder will then appear.
- Select the one you want
- Voila, you’re done!
If you want to remove an icon from a folder and send it back to the homescreen, here’s how to do it:
- Click the folder,
- Scroll over the icon
- Press The Menu button
- Select Move to Folder options. and select Home.
