Here is an update to the Blackberry Storm 3 and Blackberry Curve 3 rumor. According to Engadget, there is a possibility that RIM will reveal the Blackberry Storm 3 and also the Blackberry Curve 3 in this year’s holiday.

The assumption is that the Blackberry Curve 3 is actually the Blackberry 9300; however there’s something bothering here. The Blackberry 9300 specs and features is almost identical with the Blackberry Curve 8530. So perhaps it’s another phone. Another speculation arises is that the Blackberry Storm 3 could be the Blackberry 9800 Slider / Torch; or perhaps another touchscreen Blackberry.  10.1 inch device.

NOw that’s about it. There are the rumors on Blackberry I found recently. Stay tuned for updated news on Blackberry at the Best Blackberry Blog.

We have known previously that Verizon will announce their Push to Talk feature for their customers. Now this becomes real, as yesterday Verizon Wireless had announced Push to Talk (PTT) feature will arrive to Blackberry Tour today. Yesterday morning a Verizon press release had confirmed this news. According to Verizon, the service will be ready starting from March 30th. The customers will be able to get this feature by calling the CS. Among the features PTT offers:

    * Push a button for communicating with a team or one person
    * Up to 50 users can participate in group calls
    * You just need a device and phone number for those PTT and voice calls
    * For whole organization, there is online contact management tool.

I know that many of you have heard the rumor so many times, and now finally Verizon has made the Blackberry Storm2 9550 official… Now your patient is finally rewarded, huh :) Anyway, regarding the Blackberry Storm2 9550 price, the second largets US carrier priced the Storm2 $180 after a $100 on line discount and after you commit to a two year contract. Bad news for original Storm owners as neither Verizon nor RIM are offering any kind of appeasement for all your early troubles.

So the Storm2 9550 has better build quality than its predecessor, more memory than it’s predecessor and some other things that the the BlackBerry Storm2 does better than it’s predecessor… however, the quality of the Wi-Fi is just about the same… So before buying the new Storm2 9550; I recommend you to try your current Blackberry Storm with the OS update of OS 5.0.0.328. And then you can compare it first.

Big news, everyone! As you might all know, the Blackberry Tour is the hottest Blackberry thing buzzing over at the internet. And apparently our good folks at the Boy Genius Report have a great news for all U.S. citizens who have been waiting for the Blackberry Tour for a while now.

So according to my source, Verizon Wireless is planning to launch the Blackberry Tour on July 12th; bundled in glorious $199.99 introductory price in a 2-yr contract… Wow that’s amazing! That’s sooner (and cheaper) than what Telus (they will reveal the Tour on July 15th) and Sprint (probably this summer) said

Hurraahh!! Cheer up, Blackberry Storm fans out there..!!For some people, the original price of Blackberry storm ($499.99) might be a bit too much, but the time to buy Blackberry Storm has arrived, people!

Recently I found a great Blackberry Storm contract offer from Amazon. They will cut the Blackberry Storm’s price from $499.99 to $99.99 if you apply for a 2-yr contract on Verizon. What makes this contract offering more interesting is that it’s an instant savings discount which means you no longer have to fill up and send in any of mail-in rebate forms and waiting for the check to arrive.

As always, you should aware that you cannot switch to a lower plan within 181 days so as not to forfeit this exclusive offer, but this probably won’t be such a major issue since it’s just 2 years as opposed to 3 years.

So now are you happy? :) Go and checkout the BB storm contract offering yourself here

UPDATE: They have an added bonus when you click on the link provided here, there is an added $30 off ($30 cash back) when you get the Amazon Rewards Visa Card. It’s gotta be the lowest Blackberry Storm price available to date :)
