Some days ago, there was a rumor that Telus would test the Blackberry Pearl. That article can be viewed here.

It seems the rumor comes out to be true as a report from mobiletor.com has appeared with a picture of the Telus’s test that named as stratus.

The Blackberry Pearl 9100 is the updated version of the older Pearl. According to the report, the phone is featured with a 3.2 megapixel camera as well as 256MB of application memory.

It is predicted the Blackberry Pearl 9100 also runs on OS 5.0 and maybe be featured with an optical track pad. Another speculation is that Blackberry Pearl 9100 will come in the different colors range too. Stay tune for more info…..

Telus Blackberry Tour Price and Release Date is Out :)

Telus seems to work pretty fast on the Blackberry Tour release (or at least the first to leaked the information). Recently there was a leaked information about the release date of the Blackberry Tour and it seems that the Canadian carrier will launch the Tour on July 15. So the rumor buzzing over at Blackberry forums over at the internet is pretty much true.

However, despite of the nice info about the release date, there was also a bit unpleasant news about the price of the Blackberry Tour. So if you are a Canadian and wanted to buy the new Blackberry Tour on a 3-year contract, you’ll have to spend $249.99 as long as you are on a $20/month or higher calling plan with a data add-on of $15/month or more.That’s expensive, man.

Alternatively, you can get the Blackberry Tour on a2-year contract for $449.99, and $599.99 if you are on a 1-year contract. The Blackberry Tour full retail price will be $649.99.

In other words, that’s expensive, man…

Telus Pearl, Curve and Storm have gotten cheaper!

Great news for all blackberry fans in Canada! There’s a new info from Telus that the carrier has made all current blackberry phones including Pearl, Curve and Storm cheaper! So from today, 17th June 2009, you can enjoy the great and cheaper prize of: BlackBerry Storm is now $149 with 3-year term from $249; BlackBerry Curve 8330 $49 with 3-year, $449 no contract (was $549); and BlackBerry Pearl 8130 $0 with 3-year, $329.99 no contract (was $499)…

Isn’t that great? In the harsh economic time like this, $100 cheaper is a good news… Anyway, these offer must be combined with a voice and data plan (such as Smartphone Combo 45)…

Is it possible that this is the sign that in the near future there will be new Blackberry models arriving? Perhaps the Tour? Who knows

Telus Blackberry Storm OS official update 4.7.0.122 is here!

You the owner of Blackberry Storm will be happy with this news from TELUS. This news comes after the releasing of Bell. So, this is the news. TELUS will launch OS 4.7.0.122 for Storm. This release is the 1st update of OS after 9530 release last year.

The owner of 9530 that want to get the official update can use this S. If you want to download it, refer to the download page of your Blackberry carrier. The other way, you can download it thru Desktop Manager of Blackberry.
