Earlier today we told you that Rogers Canada has confirmed that they will launch the Blackberry Torch on September 24. And now we just heard that Telus will also release the Blackberry Torch on the same date as Rogers.

Telus announced their plan to release Blackberry Torch on Sept 24 via Twitter. According to another source the Telus Blackberry Torch price will be the same as Rogers Blackberry Torch, which will be $199.99 with 3 year contract plan

As you might have heard, RIM has just announced the latest Blackberry series, the Blackberry Torch 9800. The first ever slider Blackberry has a very sleek design, decent specs, and of course the glorious Blackberry 6 OS. You can see the full Blackberry Torch specs and also the Blackberry Torch review from the provided links.

Just recently we heard a great news for Canadian people. Bell, Rogers, TELUS and the Virgin Mobile have just confirmed that they will offer the Blackberry Torch and all of the Blackberry 6 goodness as soon as possible. Both TELUS and Rogers have said that the Blackberry Torch will be available later this year. Meanwhile, Bell gave a more precise Blackberry Torch release date on this year’s fall season.

Unfortunately, we still haven’t found out the exact availability and pricing for the Canadian Blackberry Torch 9800. But based on the AT&T BB Torch Pricing, the Blackberry Torch price in Canada should be around  $199.99 with two year agreement.

Some days ago, there was a rumor that Telus would test the Blackberry Pearl. That article can be viewed here.

It seems the rumor comes out to be true as a report from mobiletor.com has appeared with a picture of the Telus’s test that named as stratus.

The Blackberry Pearl 9100 is the updated version of the older Pearl. According to the report, the phone is featured with a 3.2 megapixel camera as well as 256MB of application memory.

It is predicted the Blackberry Pearl 9100 also runs on OS 5.0 and maybe be featured with an optical track pad. Another speculation is that Blackberry Pearl 9100 will come in the different colors range too. Stay tune for more info…..

Telus seems to work pretty fast on the Blackberry Tour release (or at least the first to leaked the information). Recently there was a leaked information about the release date of the Blackberry Tour and it seems that the Canadian carrier will launch the Tour on July 15. So the rumor buzzing over at Blackberry forums over at the internet is pretty much true.

However, despite of the nice info about the release date, there was also a bit unpleasant news about the price of the Blackberry Tour. So if you are a Canadian and wanted to buy the new Blackberry Tour on a 3-year contract, you’ll have to spend $249.99 as long as you are on a $20/month or higher calling plan with a data add-on of $15/month or more. That’s expensive, man.
