Best Blackberry

One of the updated Blackberry apps seems to be Google Maps. There are 2 new key features have been added to the app such as voice search and Buzz layers. These features have made Google Maps becomes a stronger app. You now can share with other users of Google Maps, have their recommendations and share yours too.

As for voice search, it is simple, you have to press then hold your Send button before speak you command such as restaurant type, business type, business name, address and so on. Many English accents are supported and Mandarin as well.

Buzz Layer lets you view news, oppinion, pictures related to your destinations using Layers, Buzz via menu. Post Buzz can be selected once you want to post your media.

When you want to get search history, just sign in to your Google account. This feature will be useful when you need the familiar destinations.

The Blackberry users may need the app for managing their files remotely and locally. One of those apps is Cortado Workplace. This cloud-base file manager gives you gigabyte storage. This storage can be browsed thru Blackberry app. Of course the app also lets you access local files on your device.

The cool thing here is you can print your file via a wireless network using a wireless printer. Now maybe the wireless printer is not exist or rarely found but who know in future. You can access your storage via notebook or PC. The maximum space is 1Gb and there is a 3MB limit per upload that will accommodate the normal file usage.

Another good news for those who fond with blackberry and social network freakers. As blackberry has been the leader for cellular that comes with push email idea and easy access to social network site, now they have another feature; twitter for Blackberry client! This feature will be released by the end of March 2010. So you do not need to wait too long for this surprising item. So if you do not know about RIM’s own twitter client before, through this upcoming twitter for blackberry client, you can have the RIM’s own twitter client soon.

Great news, Americans! Are you familiar with ShopBlackberry?It is the official website where RIM sells accessories for BlackBerry smartphones. Anyway, apparently RIM has just added the Shopblackberry store free apps to the Blackberry App World.

Finding and shopping for RIM Blackberry accessories and items has become easier. Some of the free app’s features include automatic device detection and catalogue updates. Moreover, secure credit card purchasing and address book integration is also the part of this Blackberry freeware.  Currently Visa and Mastercard are accepted, but it would be nice if in the future we can see Paypal payment as an option….

Currently the Shopblackberry store ver 2.6.5 apps support USA only, but I’m hoping to see more compatible countries. Anyway, the free blackberry app support all Blackberry devices, including Blackberry Bold 9700, Bold 9000, Curve 8900, Storm 9500, Storm 9550, Tour 9630, and other phone.

WeatherEye has been one of the popular weather app for Blackberry… Besides of the nice features, the WeatherEye app is a freeware. But I personally think that the freeware works great and you should look no further for a great service like this.

Anyway, the weathereye free app apparently has reached version 2.0.14; and it is now available for download. Some of the improvements found in the new WeatherEye freeware version 2 are:

• Redesigned GUI
• Multiple Locations
• Hourly forecasts
• POP in long term forecast
• Maps (not sure what for, though)

You can download the WeatherEye 2 via OTA directly from the Blackberry App World. Enjoy, everyone….

Just recently I visited one of my favorite site, the Crackberry store and found this freeware. Introducing the Free Binary Clock App for Blackberry. Yep, only those who are smart who can read this clock. Lol. To be honest, I never even understand how to read Binary Clock… Luckily, there’s a tutorial for a man like me in WikiHow. Speaking of the compatibility, the creator has made the freeware compatible to any Blackberry smartphone, as long as it got color screen (Duh?). So grab on your Blackberry and try the freeware. It doesn’t matter which Blackberry you have -Curve, Bold, Storm, Storm2, Bold2, tour, Pearl-, all you need is your sense of geekness
