Tomorrow is a big day for AT&T Blackberry fans. The Blackberry Torch is planned to be released tomorrow, and we already know almost all the details, including the Blackberry Torch specs and features, Blackberry Torch Review, Blackberry Torch Pros and Cons, and of course, the comparison between Blackberry Torch vs Bold 9700

However, if those articles isn’t enough for you, there is a new video on Blackberry Torch first impression, along with the Torch unboxing video. The Blackberry torch video length is just about eight minutes, and the video was posted by Intomobile’s Simon Sage

Simon Sage in his Blackberry Torch first impression video also pointed out the screen resolution and Torch processor speed. As I mentioned before, the Blackberry Torch doesn’t have the best screen on the market; and the processor is just 628MHz (way behind iPhone 4, Galaxy S, and other latest smartphone’s 1 GHz processor).

However, thanks to the new Blackberry 6 OS; the Blackberry Torch doesn’t lag or perform slow. The UI is smooth and responsive, and the Torch QWERTY keyboard might be a little small for some people. Check out the full video below:

Finally the UAE government releases the Blackberry Ban in their country. Previously the UAE government said that it will ban Blackberry and Blackberry service, due to a dead end in the negotiation.

Mike Lazaridis, the RIM’s co-CEO commented about this issue:

“This is about the Internet, Everything on the Internet is encrypted. This is not a Blackberry only-issue. If they can’t deal with the Internet, they should shut it off.”

On August 6 the UAE government was starting the move to ban the Blackberry Messenger service, by calling the mobile carriers to block the secure connections that BlackBerry smartphones use.

Luckily for Blackberry users in UAE, the next day UAE government and RIM has reached a deal in the negotiation. The negotiation result in the decision on placing a RIM server inside Saudi Arabia’s borders so that the government could have potential access to encrypted traffic, in order to better monitor national security.
