The Blackberry Bold 9700 is currently the next best thing you got after the Blackberry Torch 9800. The Bold 9700 successor (BB 9780) isn’t out yet; and we have to admit that the Blackberry Bold 9700 is quite popular and is still loved by many Blackberry fans.

The latest rumors lurking over at the internet are saying that the Wind Mobile is starting to offers Blackberry Bold 9700 for an estimated price of $320. We still have no confirmation about the Wind Mobile Blackberry Bold 9700 release date yet.

The Blackberry Bold 9700 has several nice features, which include 256 MB flash memory, 3.2 Megapixel camera with flash, autofocus and image stabilization, and GPS and WiFi. The latest information said that RIM is planning to update the Bold 9700 OS to Blackberry 6 OS; which will surely improve the performance. We have an interesting Bold 9700 review for you to read. We have also compiled a Blackberry Torch vs Bold 9700 comparison

In addition to this Blackberry Bold 9700 news, we also heard that Wind Mobile is also planning to release the Blackberry Pearl 3G. But there is still no further information about the Pearl 3G’s release date and price.

So T-Mobile is about to release the Blackberry Curve 3G. That is something we’ve heard for a couple of weeks now. We have also heard about the rumor on the Blackberry Curve 3G; but there was no confirmation either.

But the waiting is soon to be over. T-Mobile has confirmed the Blackberry Curve 3G release date via Facebook today. Not only that, they also revealed the Blackberry Curve 3G price plans. Below is the screenshot from the Facebook page of T-Mobile:

Anyway, as you can see from the picture above, T-Mobile will release the Blackberry Curve 3G to the market starting from September 8; and the Curve 3G price will be $79.99 with a 2 year contract.

According to the latest information, although the Blackberry Curve 3G will be able to support Blackberry 6; the device will come with the previous OS… But wouldn’t it be nice if the Blackberry Curve 3G comes with the Blackberry 6?

The Blackberry Bold 9780 is said to be the next Blackberry to be revealed after the Blackberry Torch 9800. It will be the second Blackberry to be launched with the Blackberry 6 OS. Just recently we found a picture of white Blackberry Bold 9780; and it is quite interesting. Below are those pictures:

The white Blackberry Bold 9780 picture was caught by a Chinese website; and as you can see from the picture the Blackberry Bold 9780 is running on the glorious Blackberry 6 OS (you might want to read the Blackberry 6 review). Some of the BB Bold 9780 specs and features include a 624 MHz processor, Blackberry 6 OS, 5 Megapixel camera etc.

According to the rumors spreading over at the internet, the Blackberry Bold 9780 will be the upgrade of the Blackberry Bold 9700. However, I personally think that the Blackberry Bold 9780 specs and features share too much similarities with the Bold 9700. There’s only a slight difference between the Bold 9780 and Bold 9700; and that is the camera and more memory.

It is already weekend, so it is time for another freebies for Blackberry! This time we found an interesting free Blackberry game for you, named Finger Trap. This free Blackberry game is basically a very simple game, and your objective is to “ride” on a red square and avoid blue squares.

How to copy and paste text in Blackberry might be a very basic trick. I am sure almost everyone can get it right the first try. However, I just think that it would be a good idea to put a tutorial on how to copy and paste text in Blackberry anyway. It’s pretty simple Blackberry tips, so please enjoy :)

copy paste Blackberry

copy paste Blackberry

As I said earlier, it is pretty easy to copy and paste with your Blackberry. All you have to do is to locate the text you want to copy/paste; and then you point your cursor to the beginning of the text. Then what you need to do is to hold down the shift key and scroll to the end of the text you are trying to copy. It might take some practice to get used to this mechanism, but you’ll get it in time.

Now after you have blocked the text you want to copy, all you have to do is to hit the Menu button and you will see several options, and choose Copy. Now you have copied the text, and it is stored in the Blackberry clipboard.

The text is now in the Blackberry Clipboard, and ready to be pasted. To paste the text, you just have to find editable text field and press the Menu button. You will now see Paste options, and choose it. Voila, you have done copy and paste in your Blackberry.

P.S. If  you want to erase the data/text, here is how to erase text in Blackberry Clipboard (freeing some memory):

  • Go to Options
  • Select Security Options
  • Look for Memory Cleaning. Set it to Enable
  • press Menu button
  • Select Clear Now

Now that is about it, a simple guide on how to copy and paste in your Blackberry. Pretty simple right? I hope it works for you.

RIM has announced the Blackberry Torch 9800 a while ago, and people in the US have already tasted all the goodness of the Blackberry Torch 9800. However, that is not the case for Canadian people.
