When you are working in a workplace that doesn’t allow you to bring any camera, including your cellphone, it is kinda hard to find a right phone, right? We do have the old Blackberry Curve 8830 that was offered without a camera attached. But since then there’s no other Blackberry devices that is offered camera-less
However, recently there’s a big news coming from over at the internet saying that the Blackberry Tour 9630 will be offered in two variants, the one with the camera and the one without the camera.

The screenshot above was taken from the Verizon wireless site. Now I’m wondering why do the price tag of both variants is the same $199? I personally think that RIM should at least reduce some dollars from the camera-less Blackberry Tour 9630 price. Don’t you agree?

No need to reduce the price. The only people who will buy the camera-less version are those working for companies that prohibit camera phones, and those companies will pay the $200 anyway.

Well, you got the points, LVB. I just think that for the sake of ethics, RIM should reduce the price. RIM might also get a psychological benefits from this. Such as trustworthiness etc…. Any other opinion, guys?
