People didn’t get to see 3G connectivity when the Blackberry Curve 8530 was introduced last summer, but now we finally see a Blackberry Curve that runs on 3G; the Blackberry Curve 3G 9300. This time we will do a comparison between the CDMA Curve 3G 9330 vs the Curve 8530.

Curve 3G 9330 vs 8530 Comparison: What’s the Same?

The design is pretty much the same. There is a small difference in the chrome bezel found in the Curve 3G 9330, but aside of it, the Curve 3G 9330 and Curve 8530 design is pretty similar from the keyboard, trackpad and screen size. Regarding the screen, both of them has the same resolution (320 x 240 pixel). In addition, apparently due to the similar design both Curves has the same dimension and weight too..

The camera hasn’t been upgraded too, both of Curve 3G 9330 and Curve 8530 still specs a 2 megapixel camera with 5x digital zoom and video recording.

So what’s the point of releasing a new Blackberry without any improvement? Well, there are actually some improvements found in the Curve 3G 9330 compared to the Curve 8530. Currently the Blackberry Curve 3G 9330 features a 624MHz processor, while the Blackberry Curve 8530 features a 528MHz processor.

In addition, the Blackberry Curve 3G 9330 also comes with more internal memory. The Blackberry Curve 3G 9330 comes with a 512MB RAM, which is even bigger than it’s 256MB RAM of GSM Curve 3G, by the way. Meanwhile the Blackberry Curve 8530 still use the same old 256MB RAM.
