If you are those people who love to travel somewhere new, this Blackberry app will surely a big help for you in the new town/city. The software could maximize you Blackberry’s GPS functions. If you want to track someone that you need to meet, with this software, your Blackberry could help you track them down. This is the ultimate tracking software that surely different with the other previous ones.
This software is called the MobileTracker for Blackberry. This is the ultimate tracker, because it has one different eminence than the other likely software. This tracking software could track a user’s (or some users’) position and generate a tracklog from the tracking result. The Tracklog will be formed as the KML format. The KML format would allow us to open the tracklog using the Google Earth.

This is a very easy program to use. It simply a real friendly program for users. All you have to do is just type a file name and press enter. If you are such in a hurry situation, you also could use the “Start Tracking” and it will work for you. It also has the “hide” function would allow you to have a tracking enabled while you use another feature of your Blackberry. This is such a real smart phone isn’t it? Tracking another device won’t be a difficult thing to do anymore.
The Mobiletrack is compatible with these Blackberry phones:
- 8110, 8130, 8310, 8330, 8350i, 8800, 8820, 8830, 8900, 9000 with activated internal GPS.
- 8100, 8120, 8220, 8300, 8320 with external Bluetooth GPS receiver.

- Records a tracklog and all its positions to a file which can be viewed on a desktop computer with Google Earth™, Google Maps™, NASA WorldWind™ or other applications.
- Saves the tracklog file on the built-in SD-Card.
- Supported file formats: KML/KMZ and GPX.
- Easy integration into Google Earth™ and Google Maps™.
- Background tracking.
- Simplified user interface.
- Live view: position and altitude output.
- Low power usage*.
- The timespan between two tracklog points is configurable in the range from 1 second to 5 minutes.
- Elevation tracking can be enabled and disabled. All KML altitude modes are supported: absolute, clamp to ground, relative to ground.
- Details included for the tracklog: number of waypoints, start and end time, total time traveled, total distance traveled, direct distance start to end, total average speed.
- Details included for each position: running number, time stamp, time traveled from start, distance traveled from star, direct distance to start, average speed from start.
- Details are recorded in metric and imperial units automatically.
- Regional settings of your device are respected for displaying and tracking of numbers and time information. Additionally elevation is automatically displayed in ft instead of m if the device is set to “English (United States)”.
That said, it’s too bad that it is not a free application. The price is at $24 at the official site. But hey, this could be just the right app you need right now
