Verizon United States is a tad bit slow when it comes to Blackberry Torch 9850 and Bold 9930 OS 7.1 update, compared to its fellow US carrier competitor , Sprint. As you might have known, the long awaited Blackberry OS 7.1 update has arrived at Sprint at the end of last year (this is still early January, though).

This might cause the Blackberry lovers at Verizon US fidgeting and waiting for the update that introduces the mobile WiFi hotspot mode on the Blackberry Torch 9850 and Bold 9930.

However, that is about to change, as we just got a tip from our reader saying that there’s buzz at the internet saying that the Verizon Blackberry Torch 9850 and Bold 9930 Blackberry OS 7.1 update is just around the corner, as Verizon is updating the support documentation for each BB version.

As we have said earlier, the Blackberry 7.1 bring a lot of bug fixes (small ones), and the awaited mobile hotspot capability. We’re going to update this article as soon as we got an information that Verizon Blackberry Torch 9850 and Bold 9930 Blackberry OS 7.1 update is available for download.

The Blackberry Bold 9790 has just been announced, and it seems that these guys are a true Blackberry fans. In this hectic queue lines, many people fainted because of the ‘enthusiasm’.

According to a recent news from a local news channel, a local store is offering 50% off for the Blackberry Bold 9790. However, this great deal is only available for 100 units of Blackberry Bold 9790.

Hearing this, thousands of people are starting to line up in front of the store from 6 a.m., even though the store was supposed to be opened at 9 a.m.. Finally cops had to cancel the event, due to high number of fainted people. As much as 90 people were fainted due to the hectic line up. The police also said that the event was unregistered.
